Woman, Dog Escape Fire That Destroyed Citrus Park Home

A Citrus Park woman and her dog are safe but homeless this morning after a fire broke out at a Citrus Park Home.

CITRUS PARK, FL -- A Citrus Park woman and her dog are safe but homeless this morning after a fire broke out at a Citrus Park Home.

Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said the fire started around 3 a.m. Nov. 29 at 1250 Palmdale Court.

The homeowner was alerted by the smoke detector, and she and her dog, Onyx, were able to escape with no injuries.
