Zephyrhills Man Critical Following Drunk Driving Crash

CARROLLWOOD, FL -- A 30-year-old Zephyrhills man is in critical condition following a drunk driving accident Sunday at 2:45 a.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Cassarah N. Chajkowski, 26, of Tampa was driving her Kia Spectra in the southbound inside lane of North Florida Avenue approaching West Country Club Drive when she left the road and collided with a crosswalk signal, concrete wall and pedestrian handrail.

Her passenger, Kevin M. Beazley, was taken to Tampa General Hospital with critical injuries. Chajkowski received minor injuries. After receiving medical care, she was arrested for driving under the influence with serious injuries, property damage and no valid driver's license.
