1 Dies, 1 Rescued When Boat Capsizes In Gulf

CLEARWATER, FL -- One man died after a boat capsized in the Gulf of Mexico Friday.

According to the U.S. Coast Guard, two men were fishing about 54 miles west of Tampa when their boat capsized, tossing both men into the water.

One man drowned but a Coast Guard helicopter was able to lift a second man out of the water. He was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Rescue crews are still searching for the other man's body. Their names have not been released.
