The suspect and victim were "play fighting" at the time of Tuesday's fatal shooting, Clearwater police said.
CLEARWATER, FL — A 16-year-old was arrested in the Tuesday afternoon fatal shooting of another teenager, according to a Clearwater Police Department news release.
He was charged with manslaughter and violation of probation in connection with the death of 16-year-old Jacques Ford, police said.
Though the agency released the teen’s name, it’s Patch’s policy to not name those charged in the juvenile court system. It’s not clear whether the boy was charged as a juvenile or an adult.
