Check Your Numbers: 2 $1 Million Powerball Tickets Sold in Tampa Bay
The Sunshine State had 13 millionaires named in Wednesday's history-making $1.58 billion drawing, including one jackpot winner.

Two Tampa Bay area residents are $1 million richer following Wednesday, Jan. 13’s record-setting $1.58 billion Powerball draw.
According to the Florida Lottery, two second-place tickets were purchased in the Tampa Bay area. Those tickets are worth $1 million.
The winning $1 million tickets were sold at Publix, 7880 113th St. in Seminole, and Radiant, 6512 Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills, the lottery reported.

The state also had nine other $1 million winners and a single $2 million winner thanks to the Power Play option. One jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Melbourne Beach. The owner of that ticket will split the $1.58 billion with winners in California and Tennessee, the lottery said.

The winning numbers in the Jan. 13, 2016, drawing were: 8, 27, 34, 4, 19. The Powerball is 10.
The lottery, whose website has crashed due to heavy traffic several times during the Powerball’s climb to $1.58 billion, was running with a single page website as of Thursday morning, only displaying the winning numbers.
As of Thursday morning, the Saturday, Jan. 16, jackpot was estimated at $40 million.
