2 Students Stabbed At Clearwater High School Thursday: Police
Clearwater police said a suspect was in custody and classes were dismissed early following the stabbing at Countryside High School.

CLEARWATER, FL — Two students were hospitalized Thursday following a stabbing at Countryside High School in Clearwater, according to police.
According to Clearwater police, the students are in stable condition. A suspect was taken into custody, police said.
Police did not identify the students or provide details about the stabbing. Authorities said there was no ongoing threat or danger to the school.

Students were held in their classrooms as police investigated, authorities said in a statement on social media. Police were on hand to assist with class dismissal at 1:45 p.m. Parents picking up kids were asked to enter through the McMullen Booth side.
"There will be no entrance off State Road 580," police said. "Please be patient and follow officers’ directions."
