Young Girl Was Grabbed, Groped By 23-Year-Old Man In Clearwater: Police

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police arrested a man Thursday accused of grabbing and groping a child at a park.

Bertino Sanchez Reyes, 23, a Mexican national living in Clearwater, has been charged with lewd and lascivious conduct.

According to police, on Wednesday afternoon, Reyes stopped a little girl on a sidewalk, grabbed her by the shoulders, then grabbed her groin and tried to pull her into the nearby park.

Reyes also took photos of himself with the girl before she pushed him and ran away.

Police said the photos were on his phone when he gave officers permission to look at the content on his phone.
