28-Year-Old Worker Dies After Fall From Apartment Roof

CLEARWATER, FL -- A member of a roofing crew has died after falling from the second-floor roof of a Clearwater apartment complex.

According to Clearwater Fire & Rescue, Carlos Alejandro Hernandez-Nopaltecatl, 28, of Zellwood was working on the rear side of Building E at The Palms of Clearwater Apartments, 25 N. Belcher Road, at about 9:30 a.m. on Monday when he fell.

The Clearwater Police are investigating the accident.
