4 FL Beaches Among Top 10 In U.S., New Ranking Says

Four Florida beaches were named among the top 10 in the United States Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best Beaches ranking.

The awards are based on a comprehensive analysis of millions of traveler reviews from Nov. 30, 2024, through Dec. 1, 2025.

“[The] Best of the Best title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel. It’s awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. Out of our 8 million listings, fewer than 1 [percent] achieve this milestone,” Tripadvisor said.

While La Jolla Cove in California claimed the top spot on the U.S. list, Florida’s Clearwater Beach came in just behind it at No. 2.

“The main draw of this sun-soaked beach is its wide shoreline, small-town atmosphere, plus its inviting turquoise waters. The beach has excellent conditions for parasailing, jet skiing, and snorkeling. And after sunset, watch the street performers put up awe-inspiring acts,” Tripadvisor’s review of Clearwater Beach reads. “If you’re visiting as a family, don’t miss the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Pier 60 — a brilliant sunset-watching spot. Fitness enthusiasts will also appreciate the nearby nature trails at Honeymoon Island State Park or Caladesi Island State Park. The best way to reach Clearwater Beach is via the Jolley Trolley, which stops at Pier 60 on its South Beach route.”

Meanwhile, Siesta Beach in Sarasota nabbed the No. 6 spot, St. Andrews State Park in Panama City came in at No. 8 and Dunedin’s Honeymoon Island State Park was ranked No. 10.
