64-Year-Old Man Killed; Arrest Made On 2nd-Degree Murder Charge

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County sheriff's detectives are investigating the homicide of a 64-year-old man just outside the Clearwater city limits.

Deputies were called to an apartment at 15149 Avalon Ave. at 10:09 a.m. Thursday for a domestic disturbance.

When they arrived, they said they found 31-year-old Robert Warren in the driveway with blood on his hands. Deputies took Warren into custody and entered the apartment where they discovered 64-year-old Jerry Lebreux dead from an upper body trauma.

Detectives said Warren and Lebreux were the only people living in the home.

Warren was taken to the Pinellas County Jail where he's been charged with second-degree murder.
