7-Year-Old Clearwater Boy Stable After Being Struck On Bike

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue responded to a call of a child on a bicycle hit by a vehicle Tuesday.

The call came in at 7:36 p.m. from the Arbors at Belleair Apartments, 2230 Nursery Road.

A 7-year-old child was riding a bike in the parking lot of the apartment complex when he rode into the path of a Nissan Armada, which struck him. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The boy was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg as a trauma alert in critical condition but he had now been listed as stable.
