Missing USF students: Howard Frankland Bridge lane closure, St. Pete crime scene tied to investigation (fox13news.com) — Clearwater is directly involved in the widening search for two missing USF doctoral students, with investigators confirming a search at Sand Key and Clearwater Police requesting forensic help. Authorities also closed northbound lanes of the Howard Frankland Bridge and tied a St. Petersburg crime scene to the case. Deputies are distributing flyers and urging anyone with information to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
3. FSU's Garnet & Gold Scholar Society welcomes final inductees (fsu.edu) — A Clearwater student, Grace Elliott, is among the final inductees into Florida State University’s prestigious Garnet & Gold Scholar Society, recognizing extensive learning beyond the classroom. The program, now concluding after 16 years, honors students’ work in research, leadership, service, internships, and international experiences across Florida and beyond.

BKFC Fight Night Clearwater Results (bkfc.com) — A packed OCC Roadhouse in Clearwater hosted BKFC Fight Night on Friday, showcasing several hometown fighters scoring big wins in front of local fans.
