Clearwater police say the gunfire, which left a 17-year-old hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, grew out of ongoing social media and party-related disputes, and they’ve been actively monitoring and shutting down similar teen takeover events on the beach.

Three beautiful Pinellas County beaches named the best in Florida (ilovetheburg.com) — Clearwater Beach just ranked No. 3 in USA Today’s new list of best Florida beaches, spotlighting its soft white sand, clear water, and mix of relaxation and activities.
