3. Pinellas has few rules for e-bikes. Could that soon change? (tampabay.com) β Pinellas County leaders are weighing new rules for fast-moving e-bikes and e-motos after close calls on local roads and trails, including in Clearwater. With Clearwater police limited in chasing fleeing riders, commissioners are exploring speed limits, age rules, and place-based restrictions while grappling with legal gray areas and enforcement challenges that could shape how residents ride across the county.

4. Florida troopers arrest thousands across the state under super speeder law (fox13news.com) β Florida's super speeder law has led to more than 4,800 arrests statewide, including two Clearwater drivers recently clocked at 120 mph and 107 mph on local highways. Troopers say they're enforcing a zero-tolerance policy for triple-digit speeds, warning that such driving leaves almost no time to react and endangers everyone on the road.
