CLEARWATER BEACH, FL — Those staying on Clearwater Beach have three new spots for tacos and tequila, ice cream, and grab-and-go beach fare.
Lolita's Coastal Cocina, Float Malt Shop & Creamery and Beach Market have opened at Opal Sol, the luxury resort along the Beach Walk, a news release from the resort said.
The three concepts are located at street level and are open to the public as well as resort guests, offering everyone visiting the beach "new places to eat, drink and indulge," the news release said.
Lolita's Coastal Cocina offers Mexican-inspired dishes with a coastal Florida twist. The menu includes shareable plates, street tacos, bowls and entrees such as Grouper a la Veracruzana and Lolita's Carne Platter.
The restaurant's bar features handcrafted cocktails as well as an extensive selection of tequilas and mezcals.
Lolita's is open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight.
For those looking for something sweeter, Float Malt Shop & Creamery serves ice cream, handcrafted shakes and malts, floats and specialty sundaes. Float is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Beach Market provides an early-morning option for beachgoers, offering specialty coffee, smoothies, and grab-and-go breakfast and lunch items, including sandwiches and salads. The market is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The three openings bring additional dining options to the area surrounding Opal Sol and neighboring Opal Sands, which are connected by a glass-enclosed skyway bridge. Together, the two resorts now have 10 dining outlets ranging from waterfront and poolside restaurants to casual and grab-and-go options.
