Humana Opens Sales and Service Office in Clearwater

Humana, one of Florida’s largest Medicare health benefits companies with more than half a million members statewide, has opened its third MarketPoint storefront sales and customer service office in the Tampa Bay area, at 1530 N McMullen-Booth Road, in Clearwater.

The new Clearwater office joins others Humana opened late last year in retail locations in Tampa, at 10037 North Dale Mabry Highway, and in Bradenton, at 6036 14th St. West.

All three Tampa Bay sales and service offices are convenient to consumers in retail centers; are open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and, are staffed
by Humana MarketPoint sales representatives to provide guidance and service to bay area residents and Humana members with questions about choosing and using their health benefits and health insurance, including Medicare,
individual, vision, dental and life coverage.

As health insurance increasingly becomes a retail business, Humana is focused on meeting the customer where they are. With that aim, the company has moved its Tampa Bay MarketPoint sales teams and support staff from office towers to retail settings in Tampa, Bradenton and Clearwater, as well as new offices in Port Richey (9550 U.S. 19 N) and Spring Hill (4314 Commercial Way).

The Tampa Bay MarketPoint storefronts are all close to 3,000 square feet in size and each have on-site staff of about 15 associates.

The offices hold regular Humana Medicare member orientation and information seminars to help new and renewing members understand their health plans and maximize their benefits.
