CLEARWATER, Fla. — Piano Distributors of Florida has been named “Clavinova Dealer of the Year” by the Keyboard Division of Yamaha Corporation of America, the world’s largest musical instrument manufacturer.
The award was presented to the keyboard retailer at the 2013 NAMM music products show held in Anaheim, Calif., January 24 – 27, 2013. They join nine other retailers honored by Yamaha at the event.
Yamaha recognized Piano Distributors of Florida for their outstanding sales and marketing efforts around Yamaha Clavinovas. The Clavinova is a sophisticated digital piano that offers many sound and playing options when composing or performing, making any musician the conductor of their own virtual orchestra or band.
Accepting the award from Yamaha Keyboard division top management were Piano Distributors of Florida representatives Sandy and Bill Boyce.

In 2001, Piano Distributors of Florida opened their first store in Sarasota. Since then, they have expanded their business with showrooms in Clearwater, Tampa, Orlando and Naples. The multi-location dealer showcases their Clavinovas at fairs, weekend shows and festivals to attract more attention and sales, which has proven to be key to their success.
