The Thorn Collection Named Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate’s #1 Team in West Central Florida

Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate is pleased to announce that The Thorn Collection, led by Martha Thorn at the company’s Belleair office, has been recognized as the top sales team in the West Central Florida region for the second consecutive year.

In 2012, The Thorn Collection participated in 121 transactions, totally over $69 million in sales. Their most notable sale in was Hulk Hogan’s home which sold in April for $6.2 million, making it the largest sale in the Tampa Bay area last year.

In addition, The Thorn Collection also earned the prestigious Coldwell Banker Society of Excellence award, ranking them among the company’s top sales associates worldwide.

The Thorn Collection consists of six experienced agents, located servicing Pinellas County.  Martha Thorn, Leslie Gerlach, KJ Kein, and Karen Bravo have each been in real estate for over 25 years, while Brigett Cerce and Donna Harper have a combined four years in real estate.  Each agent, supported by exceptional staff, brings their own unique selling proposition to their clients with remarkable results.

Thorn, who has sold over $550 million in her 26 year real estate career, still finds time to give back to her community. In 2012, she and her team volunteered at the Belleair Fun Run, sponsored an event for breast cancer awareness as well as the breast cancer walk, was the title sponsor for two Belleair Recreation concerts in the park, provided professional carolers for a day of bell ringing for the Salvation Army, raised over $900 for Religious Community Services at Thanksgiving and donated over $1,000 to the Pediatric Cancer Society.  The Thorn Collection can be seen around town in their pink and green golf cart – follow them to your new home!
