BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse Coming to Countryside Mall

It's more than just a movie theater.

Countryside Mall and the adjacent plaza along Countryside Boulevard are a bevy of activity lately.

Crews are finishing touches on a 12 screen Cobb theater slated to open in December at the mall.

Across the street, in the former Albertson's location in August.

Chipotle, which transformed the former Kentucky Fried Chicken building, and should be open soon.

And there's more.

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse is coming to the mall. The popular chain announced plans to open a location at Tuesday (Oct. 18). The restaurant should be open in March.

BJ's will be in one of the new restaurant spaces created on the southwest corner of the mall.

The restaurant first opened in California in 1978. There are stores locally in Pinellas Park and Citrus Park.

Countryside Mall recently underwent a $12 million renovation, adding a children's play area, renovating the food court and adding carpet and furniture in spaces throughout.
