The Cleveland Street District
I look directly into the eyes of the vacant both the human and the buildings.
It isn't just downtown ClearH2O anymore. We are the Cleveland Street District, our main street. It is a pretty street if you avoid looking at the homeless and the vacancies. The 400 block could be considered downright beautiful by any downtown standards. It is almost all rented and there is a good feeling in the air down there. We have a nice block and the sunsets are magnificent.
Still the vacancies bother us. The just closed after about 3 months of operation. It is sad how many restaurants have opened and closed in that same space over the past couple of years. I think about 5. Makes one wonder.
My loft is on the 500 block and there is a beautiful sculpture that is simply incredible at night. Other than that my view is not so nice. I look directly into the eyes of the vacant both the human and the buildings.
