Break Out of That Teen Reading Comfort Zone

Starting October 13, Clearwater Public Library challenges teens to step out of their reading comfort zone. Maybe you've become stuck in a rut of only reading books about Zombie's. Checking an interesting non-fiction title could lead you to a great read.  And then maybe you could read it in an e-book format or listen to it on audiotape. Our challenge for teens during Teen Read Week is to open your mind to new authors and genres. Prizes will be given to teens who read and vote on a book in a genre or format you generally avoid. We will have suggestions for you for books in different formats like graphic novels and audiobooks as well as a variety of genres such as nonfiction, urban fiction, multicultural fiction and more. Event runs from October 13 through Oct 19 at all Clearwater Public Library locations.
