Car Crashes Into Clearwater Home; No Injuries

CLEARWATER, FL — No one was injured when a Toyota Camry crashed through the front window of a house at 2128 Beckett Lake Drive Tuesday.

The 83-year-old driver lost control, left the road, hit a vehicle in another driveway and struck a mailbox before crashing into the house.

Firefighters from the Clearwater Fire & Rescue technical rescue team were on scene to cover up the opening in the home and check the driver to make sure he was not hurt. He declined medical treatment.
