City Of Clearwater Announces Thanksgiving Closings

CLEARWATER, FL. -- City of Clearwater government offices, recreation centers and

libraries will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday,

Nov. 24.

The Solid Waste Department will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 only. There

will be no residential black barrel, bulk trash, recycling or commercial

collections on Thursday. Thursday's collections will be made on Wednesday, Nov.

22. Friday's collections will take place on Nov. 24 as usual.

The Clearwater Beach Marina Fuel Dock, Clearwater Harbor Marina and Seminole

Launch Ramp will be open Thursday through Sunday. The Clearwater

Community Sailing Center and Pier 60 will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, but

open Friday through Sunday.

The Clearwater Airpark front desk and building will be open Thursday, Nov. 23,

from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and open regular hours Friday through Sunday.

All branches of the Clearwater Public Library System will close at 2 p.m. on

Wednesday, Nov. 22.

The Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex will be open Friday, Nov. 24 from 8 a.m.

to noon. On Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25 and 26, Clearwater libraries and

recreation centers will be open for normal hours.

On Monday, Nov. 27, all Clearwater facilities and offices will resume normal

hours of operation.

There will be no residential black barrel, bulk trash, recycling or commercial collections on Thursday.
