Clearwater Beach To Be Filled With Sounds Of Jazz Nov. 16-18

Jazz musicians from throughout the United States are heading to Clearwater this weekend for the 28th annual Suncoast Jazz Festival.

CLEARWATER, FL -- Jazz musicians from throughout the United States and Canada are heading to Clearwater this weekend for the 28th annual Suncoast Jazz Festival.

The festival will take place Nov. 16-18 at five venues at the Marriott and Sheraton hotels on Clearwater Beach with free parking and complimentary Jolly Trolley shuttles between hotels and venues.

Featured artists this year include Professor Cunningham and His Old School, Dave Bennett Quartet, Tom Rigney, Flambeau, High Sierra, Cornet Chop Suey, Terry and the Pirates with Terry Myers, Bob Leary, Eddie Metz, Charlie Bertini, Pat Gullotta, Jeff Phillips, Jay Mueller, the Queen City Jazz Band with Wende Harston, Danny Sinoff Quintet, La Lucha, Dr. Jim Grover and Wally Tatrow, recipient of the Sonny Award for 2018.

The Suncoast Jazz Festival is dedicated to preserving and promoting jazz. It provides opportunities for both professional musicians as well as aspiring young musicians from the community to perform and share their music.
