Clearwater City Offices To Close For Martin Luther King Jr. Day
City of Clearwater offices, libraries and recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of MLK Day.
CLEARWATER, FL — City of Clearwater offices, libraries and recreation facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The city’s Solid Waste/Recycling Department will be working, and there will be no changes to the once-a-week garbage collection schedule.
For police or fire emergencies, dial 911 as usual.
For gas leaks, water line breaks, or other non-police/fire emergencies, call the city's 24-hour emergency dispatch line at 727-462.6633.

There will be a Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Monday, Jan. 20 at the North Greenwood Recreation Complex and Buccaneer Field starting at 9 a.m. The celebration includes a breakfast at the recreation complex at 9 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. march to Buccaneer Field and a rally at noon. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children 10 and younger.
