Clearwater Government Offices To Close For Fourth Of July
Government offices will close the Fourth of July.

CLEARWATER, FL -- City of Clearwater offices, libraries and non-essential operations will be closed Wednesday, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday.
The city's Solid Waste Department will be working July 4, and there will be no changes to the collection schedule.
Clearwater recreation centers will operate under the following schedule:

* Clearwater Beach Recreation Center will be closed.
* Clearwater Beach Pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

* Henry L. McMullen Tennis Complex will be open from 8 a.m. to noon.
* Morningside Pool will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.
* North Greenwood Pool will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.
* Ross Norton Recreation and Aquatic Complex will be open from 1 to 5 p.m.
* The Long Center and Countryside Recreation Center will be closed.
* There is no summer camp on July 4 at any of Clearwater’s recreation facilities.
Pinellas County
Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
County parks, boat ramps, beach access areas and the Florida Botanical Gardens will remain open. However Parks and Conservation Resources administrative offices will be closed and beach and boat ramp passes will not be available for sale.
The outdoor areas of the county's preserves will be open, but the Brooker Creek Environmental Education Center, Weedon Island Cultural and Natural History Center and Heritage Village will not.
The Solid Waste Disposal Facility will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, the Solid Waste Administration Building and Household Electronics and Chemical collection center (HEC3 Facility) will be closed.
All human services and veterans services offices will be closed, as will the offices and adoption center at Animal Services.
The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session Wednesday except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergency situations.
All Pinellas County facilities will resume regular hours of operation on Thursday, July 5.
