Clearwater High School To Unveil New School Design
Alumni are invited to walk the halls one last time before the school's $54 million-dollar renovation begins.

CLEARWATER, FL — Nearly 1,000 Clearwater High School alumni will gather on Saturday to reminisce about their high school years and get a sneak preview of Clearwater High School’s future.
Renovations on the high school will begin in March. During the 30-month-long project, the classroom and administration buildings, plus the cafeteria will be rebuilt. The football field and auditorium will also be upgraded. The work is scheduled to be completed by September 2023.
Clearwater High School opened in 1954 and underwent a major renovation in 1988. Now the school will undergo a facelift for the second time.

Alumni, staff and current students are invited to the school at 540 S. Hercules Ave. from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday to see the design plans. Principal Keith Mastorides will give two presentations in the school auditorium.
Those attending are also invited to tour the campus, enjoy light appetizers in the Senior Cafe, take a commemorative photo in a photo booth sponsored by the Clearwater High School Alumni Association Inc., purchase an event T-shirt designed by students, purchase a brick for the Tornado Legends Walk to support future CHS initiatives, enjoy performances by the high school band and cheerleaders and sign up to become a volunteer at the Clearwater High College and Career Center.
