CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Patch is recognizing spring college graduates from Clearwater.
Tallahassee Community College
Tallahassee Community College will recognize more than 3,000 candidates graduates during the college's commencement ceremony on May 2. The following local students are set to earn their degrees:
- Taylor Nichols of Clearwater Beach
- Daniel Slattery of Clearwater
- Joseph Colon of Clearwater
- Aiden O'Connor of Belleair
- Devin Henry of Clearwater
- Steven Keith of Clearwater
- Sarah Forner of Clearwater
Youngstown State University
Pierre Maroun of Clearwater was one of nearly 1,400 students awarded undergraduate and advanced degrees and certificates at Youngstown State University's spring commencement in Ohio. Maroun earned master of arts in history

University of Alabama
The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, awarded 6,326 degrees this spring. Among the graduates was:- Lauren Haynes of Clearwater, who received a bachelor of science degree.
- Kelsey Karnes of Clearwater Beach, who received a bachelor of science degree in human environmental sciences.
Clemson University
Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina awarded more than 4,007 degrees in May including:- Mikayla Jacquelyn Elise Iwan of Clearwater Beach, who graduated with a master of education degree in teaching and learning.
- Andrew Jacob Steg of Clearwater, who graduated with a bachelor of science degree in financial management.
University of North Georgia
Alejandro Davila of Clearwater graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of business administration - finance degree from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia.
