Clearwater Man Accused Of Repeatedly Throwing Dog Onto Concrete Floor

Police said the 20-pound dog was crying and whining as it was slammed to the floor. Warren Wilson was arrested for animal abuse.

CLEARWATER, FL — A Clearwater man was arrested after police said he repeatedly threw a small dog onto a concrete floor during a domestic violence incident, causing injuries to the dog.

According to police, the 20-pound dog was crying and whining from pain as Warren Wilson, 23, of 3006 Saint John Drive, slammed the dog to the ground a number of times.

Wilson was charged with animal cruelty and domestic battery. He is being held in the Pinellas County Jail on $15,000 bond.
