Clearwater Man Killed In Accident On Belleair Road
A 47-year-old Clearwater man has died following a crash Thursday night on Belleair Road west of South Lake Avenue.
CLEARWATER, FL — A 47-year-old Clearwater man has died following a crash Thursday night on Belleair Road west of South Lake Avenue.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 8:04 p.m., a 24-year-old man from Temple Terrace was driving an SUV west on Belleair Road and the 47-year-old Clearwater man was driving a pickup truck east on Belleair Road when the 24-year-old lost control and entered the eastbound lane, colliding nearly head on with the pickup truck.
The Clearwater man was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
