Clearwater Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash
Investigators are hoping to talk to witnesses about car that may have been involved.
A 22-year-old Clearwater man is dead following a Thursday evening crash on Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard. Now, police investigators are turning to area residents to try and piece together what happened during Martin Jay Baltimore’s final moments.
Police say Baltimore’s motorcycle crash may have involved another vehicle.
Baltimore was heading west on Gulf-to-Bay around 7:40 p.m. when witnesses told police a car heading east turned north onto Hampton Road. Baltimore lost control of his bike and suffered critical injuries. He was airlifted to Bayfront Health, where he later died.

Police are now trying to track down the driver of the car witnesses say was involved. They believe it was black in color, but do not have a clear idea of make or model.
