Clearwater Marine Aquarium To Host Mermaid Tales Week
Mermaid Tales Week runs Dec. 26 - 30 at Clearwater Marine Aquarium.
CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Marine Aquarium is bringing magic to the aquarium with underwater interactions featuring enchanting mermaids from noon to 2 p.m. and 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26 through Dec. 30 for Mermaid Tales Week.
Guests can explore the newly opened Richard O. Jacobson Education Center while participating in mermaid- and manatee-themed activities, crafts and games.
Parking is available in the parking garage at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, 249 Windward Passage.

The aquarium also has a 90-minute Sunset Sea of Lights Boat Tour Dec. 26-30, which includes two drinks (beer or wine) for adults. The boat tour is $45 per person.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a nonprofit working marine rescue center dedicated to inspiring the human spirit through leadership in education, research, rescue, rehabilitation and release.

Winter the dolphin’s story of survival, after an injury that caused her to lose her tail, has impacted millions of people around the world. Major motion picture Dolphin Tale (2011) features Winter’s story and its sequel Dolphin Tale 2 (2014) features the story of Hope, a young resident dolphin of CMA.
Through Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute, CMA conducts important global research focused on protecting manatees, right whales and sea turtles.
