Clearwater Motorcyclist Died In Crash On U.S. 19 Frontage Road

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A 29-year-old Clearwater man died Monday when his motorcycle struck a sports utility vehicle on the U.S 19 Frontage Road at Belleair Road.

At 9:50 p.m., the motorcyclist was heading east on Belleair Road approaching the Frontage Road. An SUV driven by a 55-year-old St. Petersburg man was heading south on the U.S. 19 Frontage Road approaching Belleair Road when the motorcyclist turned right into the path of the SUV.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he later died.
