Clearwater Pedestrian Killed Crossing Gulf-To-Bay Boulevard

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police have released the name of the pedestrian who was killed Friday night while crossing Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard.

According to Clearwater Police, Jeffrey L. Bickel, 57, of Clearwater was crossing in the 2200 block of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard just before 10 p.m. May 10 when he was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Tatianna Williams, 20, of Clearwater.

Bickel was attempting to cross the street southbound in the middle of the block and not in a crosswalk when he walked into the path of Williams' car.

He was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he died from his injuries.
