CLEARWATER, FL — A pilot had a close call Saturday morning when the landing gear on his small plane collapsed while landing at the Clearwater Airpark. Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire &amp; Rescue responded to a call around 9 a.m. The pilot was on the only person aboard the plane and was not injured.
