Clearwater Police Charge Wrong-Way Driver With DUI
Clearwater Police have charged a Largo man with DUI after they say he drove the wrong way for miles on U.S. 19 early Saturday morning.

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police have charged a Largo man with DUI after they say he drove the wrong way for miles on U.S. 19 early Saturday morning, Sept. 29.
Police say Donte A. Jackson, 38, traveled southbound in the northbound lanes of the highway from Curlew Road to almost Drew Street. Multiple calls from motorists were received about the wrong-way driver.
Officers were able to get his car stopped as he approached Drew Street. Jackson was booked in to the Pinellas County Jail after his arrest at 3 a.m.
