Clearwater Police Collect Back-To-School Supplies Today, Saturday

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police will be at Walmart collecting school supplies Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28 to help Clearwater youngsters as they head back to school next month.

Officers will be at the store at 23106 U.S. 19 N. from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

They will be collecting all kinds of school supplies - pencils, paper, crayons, scissors, glue, notebooks and more - that will be distributed before the first day of school on Aug. 13. Residents are encouraged to pick up some extra supplies to donate if they are at the store shopping for their own family.

The Walmart is located at the corner of U.S. 19 and State Road 590.
