Clearwater Police Honor 2 Residents With Samaritan Award

Clearwater Police Chief Dan Slaughter honored two residents Monday, June 25 with the Clearwater Police Department's Samaritan Award.

CLEARWATER, FL – Clearwater Police Chief Dan Slaughter honored two residents Monday, June 25 with the Clearwater Police Department’s Samaritan Award.

Jim Roble and Kelsey King were recognized by Slaughter with the agency's highest award for community members.

The two helped apprehend, subdue and detain a man in March who had been acting strangely in their neighborhood while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
