Clearwater Police Investigate Death At Flamingo Hotel

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police and Clearwater Fire & Rescue are investigating a death at the Flamingo Hotel, 1806 N. Fort Harrison Ave.

The body of 67-year-old man was found in one of the rooms at the hotel Tuesday. He had not been seen since Saturday. There were signs of a fire in the room.

The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the medical examiner's office.

The man's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
