Clearwater Police Charge Woman In Dollar General Armed Robbery

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police has arrested a 31-year-old Clearwater woman in connection with the armed robbery of the Dollar General Dec. 13.

At 8:55 a.m., a robber armed with a dark-colored semi-automatic handgun walked into the store at 422 N. Belcher Road and demanded money from store employees. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, she left the store and was last seen running northwest toward Northeast Coachman Road.

On Tuesday, police charged Robin Ellerby with armed robbery and kidnapping in connection with the holdup. She is being held in the Pinellas County Jail.
