Clearwater Police Seek Man Who Stuffed Drill Down Pants

Clearwater Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify a man who stuffed a drill and drill parts down his shorts.

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify a man who stuffed a drill and drill parts down his shorts and then left a home improvement store.

The crime occurred at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 22 at Lowe's Home Improvement, 26990 U.S 19 N.

Police say the man put a power drill and related accessories in his shorts and then left the store without paying. When store security attempted to stop him, he ran from the scene, dropping some of the items along the way.

He likely is in his 30s and was wearing a black T-shirt and camo shorts.
