Clearwater Police Seek Public's Help To Identify Target Burglars

Clearwater Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify a pair of who tried to steal electronics from Target.

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify a pair of who tried to steal electronics from Target.

The crime occurred early Thursday at the Target at Clearwater Mall, 2747 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd.

One of the burglars, who had hidden inside the store after closing, smashed the glass out of a display case and loaded thousands of dollars' worth of electronics into a suitcase.

The other burglar was outside waiting on him. When the burglar tried to leave the store, an alarm sounded and he fled, leaving the stolen items behind.

The two left the parking lot in a white newer-model Honda with a temporary tag.

These same men were at a Target in St. Petersburg earlier the same night.
