Clearwater Police Seek Serial 7-Eleven Bic Bandit

CLEARWATER, FL -- Clearwater Police detectives are asking for the public's help to identify a man who has stolen a stash of disposable lighters four times within a month from the same convenience store.

The most recent crime occurred Tuesday, June 19. In each case, the man walked into the 7-Eleven at 657 Court St. in Clearwater, grabs a display full of lighters and runs out the door. He's stolen more than 50 lighters.

One witness saw him leaving on a red bicycle. Another saw him running from the store.
