Clearwater Sea-Blues Fest Takes Over Coachman Park Feb. 22-23

The free event will feature five top-name national and regional musical acts each day along with a smorgasbord of seafood dishes.

CLEARWATER, FL — Gulf breezes will carry the sultry sounds of blues guitar rifts and the spicy aroma of Cajun shrimp and paella this weekend during the popular two-day Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 22-23.

The free event will feature five top-name national and regional musical acts each day along with a smorgasbord of seafood dishes prepared by some of Tampa Bay's most innovative seafood chefs.

Gates open at 2 p.m. each day.

While admission is free, blues lovers can opt to upgrade with VIP ticket packages ranging from $30 to $100. Those attending are also encouraged to donate $5 in the donation boxes at the gates and a booth inside the venue to benefit the Homeless Empowerment Program (HEP).

The Captain's Krewe includes reserved seating in the first two rows, early admission brunch, a meet-and-greet with the artists on both days, unlimited drinks in the Super VIP Area with craft beer selections, one meal, a private restroom trailer and a special Captain's Krewe gift.

The VIP package includes reserved seating with premium stage viewing, three drinks, one meal, a private restroom trailer, a private bar and VIP area and a special Sea Blues gift.

Coachman Park is located at 301 Drew St., Clearwater.

Security

Fans entering Coachman Park will go through a metal detector and wand screening process at the gate. Bags will also be subject to search. Please allow yourself time to get through security lines by arriving to the venue early.

Tickets

Tickets are not necessary to attend the event as general admission is free. If you bought tickets, make sure to have them printed out in order to access the reserved seating, VIP or Captain's Krewe areas.

Parking

Attendees are encouraged to park in the free parking garage in d0wntown Clearwater.

Rules

Acceptable items: Factory-sealed water bottles, empty water containers, small bags, blankets, palm-size cameras and chairs are allowed in Coachman Park.

Prohibited items: Pets (except for assistance animals), grills, illegal drugs, weapons, coolers, umbrellas, large bags, fireworks, tents and glass are not allowed in Coachman Park.
