Clearwater Shooting Victims Drove to Largo Hospital, Cops Say
The shooting remains under investigation.

Local law enforcement agencies are working to solve a double shooting that took place Monday night in Clearwater.
According to the Largo Police Department, that agency was called out to Largo Medical Center’s emergency room just after 8 p.m. after two men with gunshot wounds arrived at the 201 14th St. S.W. facility.
“(The men) had driven themselves to the hospital after being shot,” Lt. Paul Amodeo explained in an email to media. The men told police they had met up at the Melrose on the Bay apartment complex, 16321 Bolesta Road, in Clearwater earlier that evening. While they were sitting in a car, two unidentified men walked up and shot the victims multiple times, Amodeo wrote.
