Clearwater Tree Trimmer Receives Electric Shock

CLEARWATER, FL—A Largo tree trimmer is hospitalized today after receiving an electric shock from a power line while trimming branches from a tree in the back yard of a home at 1309 Milton St., Clearwater.

The Clearwater Fire & Rescue Department arrived on the scene just before 11 a.m. Dec. 11. The 38-year-old tree trimmer was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital where he is in critical condition. His name has not been released.

The tree trimmer was standing on this ladder cutting branches when he was injured.
