Clearwater Woman Charged With 10 Counts Of Possessing Child Porn

Pinellas County Sheriff's detectives arrested a 31-year-old Clearwater woman following a child pornography investigation.

CLEARWATER, FL — Pinellas County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 31-year-old Clearwater woman following a child pornography investigation.

Courtney Elizabeth Rummery was booked into the county jail Wednesday on 10 counts of possession of child pornography. Bail was set at $200,000.

Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit say they began an investigation on Aug. 6, after receiving information from Largo Police Department. They said their investigation led them to Rummery.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for Rummery’s home in the 2000 block of Lake Citrus Drive in unincorporated Clearwater and found a laptop containing multiple images of child pornography, according to the sheriff's office.
