Cobb Announces 2015 Free Summer Movies in Clearwater

Clearwater area parents looking for free and cheap ways to keep their kids busy over the summer might want to pay a visit to Countryside 12.

Cobb Theatres has announced its lineup of free summer movies for 2015 at the 27001 U.S. Highway 19 N. location.

The fun kicks off at 10 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout the summer. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. While movies are free, popcorn and other refreshments still come at a price.

Here is the lineup for this summer:

• June 16-18 – Planet 51 and the Muppets Take Manhattan
• June 23-25 – Stuart Little, Hook
• June 30-July 2 – The Smurfs, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
• July 7-9 – Alpha & Omega, Tarzan
• July 14-16 – Astro Boy, The Wizard of Oz
• July 21-23 – The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, Rio
• July 28-30 – The Book of Life, Paddington
• Aug. 4-6 – The Lego Movie, Sesame Street: Follow that Bird
