Colvin Shuts-Out Manatees

The Threshers split their doubleheader in Brevard County winning 2-0 and losing 4-2.

Brody Colvin was one out shy of pitching a complete game shut-out on Wednesday (Aug. 31) defeating the Brevard County Manatees 2-0.

The 21 year old right-hander limited the Manatees to just six hits while striking-out five, picking up his third win of the season in 22 appearances.

A run scoring single by second baseman Cesar Hernandez in the fourth inning was all the scoring the Threshers needed for the game one victory.
