Cosart Shuts Down Marauders To Complete Homestand
Threshers win seven of eight defeating Marauders 3-1.
Jarred Cosart picked up his ninth win of the season on Thursday (July 28) with seven shut-out innings in a 3-1 win over the Bradenton Marauders.
The win completed a very successful homestand which saw the Threshers get back to .500 and now trail the North Division leading Tampa Yankees by three games.
The 21 year old Texas native who has been invovled in plenty of Major League trade rumors gave up only six hits in seven scoreless innings.

A two-run fifth was the difference in the well pitched game. Second baseman Cesar Hernandez and shortstop Troy Hanzawaz each had RBI singles in the inning.
